PANCAKE TUESDAY

Today is Pancake Tuesday, my second favourite day of the year (after Christmas), so of course this morning, I made pancakes! Below is step by step how I created a plate of perfection.

1. I laid the ingredients out as shown

I used 1 small bowl of flour

1/2 a bowl of caster sugar

And 1 egg

2. I placed all the ingredients into a large bowl

3. I mixed the ingredients to achieve a mixture of a crumbly consistency

4. I then added as much milk as needed to achieve a light runny mixture (roughly 1 cup)

5. I then poured this into a pan with a splash of oil

6. These were then cooked to perfection and stacked onto a plate with some squares of butter on top

I made three medium/large thin pancakes from this recipe and they were delicious! Of course the size and thickness is a personal choice and the pancakes can be created as you like them.

Happy pancake making!

Clothing Wishlist

I haven't been feeling well and have spent all day in my bed, either sleeping or browsing clothing and make up websites. I came across some clothes I really like from Topshop and River Island and thought I'd share them. All the items are quite smart-casual and suitable for everyday days out with friends, in my opinion.

River Island Grey Cut Out Back Oversized Shirt // £38.00
I think this shirt would look great with denim jeans and an oversized tote bag for a carefree look.

River Island Red Ribbed Frilly Bardot Top // £16.00
This top is nice as it is a little more revealing and exposes the shoulders, could make a very casual look a little more glamorous.

Topshop Herringbone Jersey A-Line Mini Skirt // £26.00
I'd wear this skirt with a pair of boots and a long sleeved black top for a smart, well put together look.
**It's Happening Crop Top By WYLDR // £10.00
I think this top would look great with a pair of black jeans!

River Island Blue Organic Shirt Dress // £30.00
This dress would be perfect for a spring time carefree or loungey look.

Topshop MASTER Tortoise Heel Boots // £85.00
I would pair these boots with the red herringbone skirt above, I think they are smart and would also add a little more glamour to a pair of jeans.

Topshop Hold Power Joni Jeans // £45.00
I've been wanting a pair of black jeans for a while as you can wear them with anything and they look good.

Topshop 90's Vest Tunic // £16.00
I think with a pair of trendy trainers and a more colourful jacket this dress would help to create a sporty, fun and fresh look.

My Skincare Routine

I like to look after my skin and have a simple skin care routine that I like to stick to because using different products all the time can increase the chances of spots and skin irritation.

When I wake up in the morning I just wash my face with warm-hot water to open up and steam the pores. Then I just splash some freezing cold water on my face to close the pores again, I then apply Olay Double Action Day Cream and Primer before putting my makeup on on top.

Before I go to bed I like to dampen my skin with warm water before washing my face with Simple Spotless Skin Triple Action facewash. I then close my pores with cold water and apply a generous amount of Lush Cosmetics Oatifix facemask (this facemask is so moisturising, soothing especially as it has to be kept in the fridge, and it smells delicious too!). I leave this on for about 10-20 minutes before washing it off thouroughly with lukewarm water. I then like to apply Olay Double Action Day Cream and Primer, and put Sudocream on any blemishes to help heal them overnight.

...And thats all, hope you found this intersting and be sure to try out the products mentioned in this post.
